Gardenplot.

April 2025

Are you looking for somewhere to grow vegetables or keep chickens  ?

A large vegetable garden in Borras Hall Lane is currrently unused but available to gardeners.

There is space for 6 or 7 small plots for vegetable growing. Suitable for individuals, couples or families. Very similiar to allotments - just smaller plots in a garden.

Access 7 days a week.

The rent is £4 per week - but the first year is free - as each Plot is very overgrown with long grass and weeds.

As you are responding to a sign in Borras Hall Lane , you know where the garden is.

Parking is available on the road verge.

There is water in the garden -  but some minor reconnecting is needed by a gardener.

There are some apple, pear and plum trees and an old chicken shed if someone wants to keep chickens. The shed is in poor condition but useable wth some minor repairs.

I will pay for any shared materials - water butts, water connecting , chicken shed repairs if gardeners provide the labour.

Although the garden has been cleared once, the ground is very overgrown and your plot will need digging and re clearing, so only the strong and determined will be interested.

You should be friendly and tolerant of others - as its a shared site.

No radios.
